After appearing on the SI cover in college, Jordan quickly made the cover as a Bulls rookie in December 1984 with the headline ‘A Star Is Born.’ The magazine showed Jordan in action against the Milwaukee Bucks, and that image inspired this Jordan 1 colorway. The shoe features a black and white leather upper. The green and white embroidered Swooshes with a red border are a reference to the Bucks’ uniforms.
